| I saw a mobile phone for sale in a department store over the holidays which cost the equivalent of around 20,000 RMB. I thought that was outrageous, until I found you are guaranteed to only have good conversations on it. Worth every fen! Byeeee!!! |

| Boys and girls, welcome to another year! 2005. Half way through the first decade of the 21st century. Shanghai begins the new year with snow and ice, and the lowest temperatures seen in the city for many years. Is there a link between the unusual weather here and earthquakes in the Indian Ocean? An important point to note, not made anywhere in the media that I have seen, is that earthquakes usually come in bunches. A couple of days before the Big One, I remember reading about an earthquake near Tasmania, and I thought - next one? |
